Information for Prospective Donors

While the museum building is structurally sound in order for it to function properly as a museum
there are renovations and some restructuring that need to be done. The cost of these renovations is
approximately $1.5 million. A timetable has been established to complete work, which will be done in
three stages:

Stage 1 is the planning phase and organization of the short-term and long-term fund- raising
program. This included an initial introduction to the community. Completed.

Stage 2 is the renovation of the first floor of the building, converting it to display space. This also will
include moving material, archives and office operations to the new building. Target date is April 30,
2011.

Stage 3 is the renovation of the second floor ballroom. Target date is Dececmber 31, 2011.

The goal is to open the museum to the public by June 1, 2011.
